Global Equities Corp. (OTCBB: SEGB), a provider
of direct access trading software and financial
resources for international investors, announced
that it has signed a formal stock purchase agreement
to acquire all of the outstanding capital stock
of Global American Investments, Inc. (GAI),
a registered broker-dealer based in California.
The acquisition is subject to certain conditions
precedent to closing, including regulatory approval
from the NASD. Clearing services for GAI accounts
are provided by Computer Clearing Services.
SE
Global currently offers investors direct access
trading on an international scale, through its
alliance broker network and international representatives.
The acquisition of GAI is anticipated to significantly
expand the range of trade execution, support
services and clearing options available to users
of SE Global Trade.
